The DLF Golf and Country Club, located in DLF5 in Gurgaon, was opened in 1999, with the first Arnold Palmer Signature course in the country. The club featured many other firsts – the first course to offer Night Golf and the first professional Golf Academy in the country were some of them. The club offers something for the entire family – tennis, squash, swimming, basketball, and a gymnasium.
There will be 12 teams that will play the DLF Golf League. Each team will comprise 12 players.
Each team shall nominate a Team Captain who shall be responsible for all team decisions and communications with the Tournament Committee.
Each team can have a non-playing Mentor at their discretion. The role of the Mentor is detailed further in the document.
Each team can have a maximum of 2 non-members.
The Tournament will be played in two phases – a round robin stage and an elimination stage.
The teams will be divided into 2 groups – Group A and Group B. This will be picked at the Welcome dinner.
Each group will comprise 6 teams which will play against each other twice, over 18 holes in the round robin stage.
One match shall be played on the Gary Player Course and one on the Arnold Palmer Course under lights.
All tee offs will be towards the afternoon so that they can finish in time for the evening get togethers.
